The European Higher School of Economics and Management honored the Honorary Consul of Moldova in the Republic of Bulgaria Veselin Chipev with the honorary title "Doctor Honoris Causa". The decision was taken at a meeting of the Academic Council on 18.07.2017 at the proposal of the President of EHSEM.
Veselin Chipev is among the most prominent partners of EHSEM assisting students by providing scholarships, providing practices and internships, and organizing business forums with the participation of students and lecturers. The Career Development Center of EHSEM carries out many practices and internships in a real business environment in Mr. Chipev's business structures, including companies in the hotel business, production and management. Many graduate students begin their professional careers in these structures.
The European Higher School of Economics and Management starts an academic exchange with higher education institutions in Moldova with the assistance of Mr. Chipev.
The president of the European Higher School of Economics and Management, Prof. Mariana Mihaylova, is confident that the partnership of the Higher School with Mr. Veselin Chipev will continue to develop and deepen both at national and international level.
